Ingredients
For the Salmon Bites:
-
1 lb skinless salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
¼ teaspoon black pepper
For the Hot Honey:
-
¼ cup honey
-
1–2 teaspoons hot sauce (like Sriracha or Frank’s Red Hot)
-
Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for extra heat
Optional Garnishes:
-
Chopped fresh parsley or green onions
-
Sesame seeds
-
Lime wedges
Instructions
Add salmon cubes to a bowl and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Place salmon pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crispy on the edges and cooked through.
While the salmon cooks, warm the honey and hot sauce in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl for 10–15 seconds. Stir well to combine. Add red pepper flakes if you like extra heat.
Drizzle or toss the hot honey over the cooked salmon bites. Garnish with chopped herbs, sesame seeds, or lime juice if desired. Serve hot and enjoy the perfect combo of crispy, sweet, and spicy.
Notes
Cut Even Cubes – This helps all the pieces cook evenly and crisp up at the same time.
Don’t Overcrowd – Cook in batches if needed to ensure crispiness.
Customize the Heat – Adjust the hot sauce and chili flakes to your spice preference.
Make it a Meal – Serve over rice, salad, or inside lettuce wraps for a full dish.
