Ingredients

Scale

For the Steak Bites:

  • 1 lb beef sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 1 ½ tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp dried oregano

  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional for a kick)

Optional for Serving:

  • Fresh chopped parsley

  • Melted garlic butter for drizzling

  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Steak

  1. Cut the steak into even 1-inch cubes.

  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the steak bites with olive oil.

  3. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, oregano, and cayenne pepper if using.

  4. Sprinkle the seasoning blend over the steak bites and toss to coat evenly.

Step 2: Preheat the Air Fryer

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3–5 minutes.

  2. Preheating helps get that nice sear on the steak bites.

Step 3: Cook the Steak Bites

  1. Arrange the steak bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Don’t overcrowd—cook in batches if needed.

  2. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 6–8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.

  3. For medium doneness, aim for about 6 minutes; for medium-well, closer to 8 minutes.

Step 4: Rest and Serve

  1. Let the steak bites rest for 2–3 minutes after cooking to keep them juicy.

  2. Garnish with fresh parsley and drizzle with melted garlic butter if desired.

  3. Serve immediately with your favorite sides or dipping sauces.

Notes

Choose the Right Cut – Sirloin and ribeye are flavorful and tender choices.
Cut Even Pieces – Uniform cubes cook evenly.
Preheat Your Air Fryer – Essential for a nice sear and faster cooking.
Rest After Cooking – Helps the juices redistribute for the most tender bites.
Add Butter – Garlic butter takes the flavor to the next level.
