- Ground Cinnamon (1 ½ tsp)
- Salt (¼ tsp)
- Granulated Sugar (¾ cup)
- Brown Sugar (¼ cup, packed)
- Eggs (2 large)
- Unsweetened Applesauce (½ cup)
- Vegetable Oil (¼ cup)
- Vanilla Extract (1 tsp)
- Apples (2 medium, peeled & chopped)
- Milk (¼ cup)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat & Prepare the Pan
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
Step 2: Mix the Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
Step 3: Combine the Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, applesauce, oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Step 4: Fold in the Apples
Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Gently fold in the chopped apples.
Step 5: Pour & Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Smooth the top and bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 6: Cool & Enjoy
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve!
Notes
- Use Sweet-Tart Apples: Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Granny Smith work great.
