Ingredients
- 14 oz thinly sliced deli roast beef
- 8 slices provolone, cut into quarters
- 1 (16.3-oz) can biscuits (or 8 unbaked homemade biscuits)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted, divided
- 1 (1-oz) packet au jus gravy mix
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 to 2 tsp prepared horseradish
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- Sliced chives, for serving (optional)
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to biscuit package instructions.
- In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, prepared horseradish, Dijon mustard, and fresh lemon juice. Stir until smooth. Set aside for later use.
- Open the can of biscuits or prepare your homemade dough. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands.
- Place a quarter slice of provolone cheese on top of each biscuit. Add a few slices of roast beef on top of the cheese.
