Ingredients
- 500 grams Organic grass-fed veal mince
- 500 grams Organic grass-fed chicken mince
- 1 Carrot (diced)
- 1 Celery stick (diced)
- ½ Brown onion (diced)
- 2 Bottles Italian passata
- 1 glass red grape juice
- Provolone cheese
- Buffalo Mozzarella
- Grated pecorino cheese
- Fresh egg lasagna pasta sheets
- 25 grams Butter
- 25 grams plain flour
- 250 ml Milk
- Sprinkle of salt
- Sprinkle of nutmeg
- Extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a saucepan with olive oil, sauté onions until translucent. Add diced carrot and celery; cook until softened.
- Stir in both types of minced meat and brown thoroughly. Mix in Italian passata and grape juice; season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes.
- For the béchamel sauce, melt butter in another saucepan, whisk in flour for 2 minutes. Gradually add milk while whisking until thickened; season with salt and nutmeg.
- Layer meat sauce in a baking dish, followed by lasagna sheets and béchamel sauce. Repeat layers and finish with béchamel on top, garnished with mozzarella and grated pecorino.
- Bake for about 180 minutes until golden brown.
