Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 package refrigerated sugar cookie dough (or homemade sugar cookie dough, if preferred)

For the Cream Cheese Topping:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon orange juice (optional, for added flavor)

For the Fruit Topping:

  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced

  • 1 cup blueberries

  • 1 kiwi, peeled and sliced

  • 1 orange, peeled and segmented

  • 1 banana, sliced

  • ¼ cup shredded coconut (optional)

  • Honey or maple syrup (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Cookie Crust

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Roll out the sugar cookie dough onto a baking sheet or pizza pan, pressing it into a circular shape (about 12 inches in diameter). You can also line the pan with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

  3. Bake the dough according to package instructions or until golden brown, usually 8-10 minutes. Keep an eye on it to avoid overbaking. The cookie crust should be firm but soft in the center once baked.

  4. Allow the cookie crust to cool completely before adding the toppings.

Step 2: Make the Cream Cheese Topping

  1. While the cookie crust cools, make the cream cheese topping by mixing the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and orange juice (if using) in a bowl. Use a hand mixer or whisk until smooth and creamy.

  2. Once the crust has cooled, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the entire cookie crust, leaving a small border around the edges.

Step 3: Prepare the Fruit

  1. Slice the strawberries, kiwi, banana, and any other fruit you are using.

  2. Arrange the sliced fruit in a colorful pattern over the cream cheese topping. You can create fun designs, or simply place the fruit in a random, beautiful pattern—there’s no wrong way to do it!

Step 4: Garnish & Serve

  1. After arranging the fruit, sprinkle the top with shredded coconut (if using) for extra texture and flavor.

  2. Drizzle the entire fruit pizza with a small amount of honey or maple syrup, if desired, to add a touch of sweetness.

  3. Slice into wedges and serve immediately. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Make Ahead – You can prepare the cookie crust and cream cheese topping the night before. Just store them separately in the fridge, and assemble the pizza with fresh fruit in the morning.

  • Use Seasonal Fruit – This fruit pizza can be customized for any season. Use berries in the summer, apples and pears in the fall, or citrus fruits in the winter. The options are endless!

  • Add Texture – For extra crunch, sprinkle some granola or chopped nuts on top.

  • Use Greek Yogurt – If you want a lighter topping, you can substitute the cream cheese with Greek yogurt for a tangy twist.

  • Cold Crust Option – For a chilled version, place the dough in the fridge before baking it. This will create a firmer, colder crust when it’s ready to top.
