- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 cup stone-ground grits
- 4 cups water or chicken broth
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions

- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef strips seasoned with salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning, and smoked paprika. Sauté for about 4–5 minutes until browned.
- In the same skillet, add onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic. Sauté for about 3–4 minutes until softened. Return beef to skillet with broth; let simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
