  • 41 ounces canned apple pie filling
  • 4 cups cold whole milk
  • 6.8 ounces french vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 14.4 ounces graham crackers
  • 20 ounces caramel sundae topping
  • Chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut apple slices from the pie filling into smaller pieces for even layering.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cold milk and sprinkle the pudding mix over it. Blend with a handheld mixer on low speed for 2-2½ minutes until thickened.
  3. Layer graham crackers at the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.
  4. Spoon half of the apple pie filling over the crackers.
  5. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the apple layer.
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 for another layer.
  7. Finish with a final layer of graham crackers on top.
  8. Generously drizzle caramel topping over the last layer.
  9. Cover loosely and chill in the refrigerator for at least four hours before serving.
