  • 1 cup orzo pasta, uncooked
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: diced pickles and tomatoes for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, cook the ground beef with diced onion and hamburger seasoning until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess grease if needed.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in uncooked orzo, beef broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to simmer, cover, and cook while stirring until orzo is tender (10-12 minutes).
  4. Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until melted.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
  6. Garnish with diced pickles and tomatoes if desired.
