Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup finely chopped dill pickles
- 12 spring roll wrappers
- 2 tablespoons flour plus 3 tablespoons water (mixed into a paste for sealing)
- Oil for frying or spray for air frying
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Drain any excess grease.
- Mix in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and let cool for 5 minutes. Stir in cheese and pickles.
- Keep spring roll wrappers under a damp towel. Place 2 tablespoons of filling in each wrapper's center, fold sides inward and roll tightly. Seal edges with a flour paste.
- Heat oil in a frying pan to 350°F or preheat air fryer to 390°F. Fry rolls until golden brown (3-4 minutes) or air-fry for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
