  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 lb chicken breast
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 12 oz gluten-free farfalle pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp dry shallots
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
  • 1/4 cup pasta water

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot and cook gluten-free farfalle pasta until al dente, then drain.
  2. In a bowl, mix paprika, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Season the chicken with this mixture.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the seasoned chicken until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Cover and cook on medium-low heat until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the skillet.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and add dry shallots and remaining garlic powder. Simmer for one minute.
  6. Stir in gluten-free flour, then gradually whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream until smooth.
  7. Add shredded Parmesan cheese until melted and combined into the sauce.
  8. Toss cooked pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency.
  9. Slice the chicken and stir it into the pasta before serving.
