- ½ cup finely chopped dill pickles
- 2 tablespoons pickle juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried dill (or 1 tablespoon fresh dill)
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For the Coating:
- ½ cup crushed crackers (Ritz or pretzels work great)
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh dill
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Cheese Mixture
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chopped pickles, pickle juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, dill, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Step 2: Shape the Cheese Balls
- Scoop out small portions and roll them into 1-inch cheese balls. If making a large cheese ball, shape the mixture into a round ball.
- Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
Step 3: Coat the Cheese Balls
- In a small bowl, mix crushed crackers, fresh dill, and green onions.
- Roll each cheese ball in the coating mixture until fully covered.
Step 4: Serve and Enjoy!
