  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 2 packets brown gravy mix
  • 2 ¼ cups water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, beaten egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Shape into four patties.
  2. Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear patties for about 3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and keep warm.
  3. In the same skillet, add more oil and sauté mushrooms for about 5–6 minutes. Gradually stir in brown gravy mix and water; whisk until smooth.
  4. Return patties to skillet and simmer in gravy for about 7–10 minutes until fully cooked.
  5. Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve warm.
