Ingredients
12 wonton wrappers or 6 small flour tortillas (cut into quarters)
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning (or 1 tbsp homemade mix)
½ cup water
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)
½ cup canned black beans, drained (optional)
½ cup corn kernels (optional)
Chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, jalapeños, salsa (for topping)
Fresh cilantro and lime wedges (optional garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked.
Drain excess grease, then stir in taco seasoning and ½ cup water.
Simmer for 4–5 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat.
Step 2: Prepare the Muffin Tin
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray or oil.
Step 3: Layer the Taco Cups
Place one wonton wrapper or tortilla piece into each muffin cup, pressing gently to fit the shape.
Add a spoonful of seasoned beef to each. Top with black beans and corn if using.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over each cup.
Step 4: Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the tin.
Step 5: Add Toppings and Serve
Top each taco cup with your favorite toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, salsa, jalapeños, or guacamole.
Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with lime wedges.

Prep Ahead – Make the beef filling in advance for even faster assembly
Don’t Overfill – Leave space at the top to avoid overflow while baking
