Description

Indulge in the delightful flavors of French Dip Sliders, perfect for any gathering or weeknight dinner. These savory mini sandwiches feature tender beef, sweet caramelized onions, and gooey Swiss cheese, all tucked into soft slider buns.


Ingredients

  • Slider buns (12-count)
  • Unsalted butter
  • Thinly sliced yellow onion
  • Fresh thyme leaves
  • Grated garlic
  • Granulated sugar
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Thinly sliced deli roast beef
  • Swiss cheese
  • French onion soup
  • Water
  • Au Jus mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook until golden brown. Stir in thyme, garlic, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cut slider buns in half horizontally and layer them in a baking dish. Spread half of the caramelized onions on the bottom halves.
  4. Layer with roast beef and remaining onions, then top with Swiss cheese.
  5. Mix French onion soup, water, and Au Jus mix; pour over assembled sliders.
  6. Brush remaining butter on top of buns, cover with foil, and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden.
