Ingredients
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 large white onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp grape juice
- 1 pound chicken breasts, pounded thin
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
Instructions
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat butter and 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and sauté for 10-15 minutes until caramelized. Stir in grape juice and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and cook chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
- Return onions to the skillet; mix in flour and gradually whisk in beef broth until thickened.
