- ½ cup red grape juice

- 8 slices Thick Sliced Bread

- 1 cup Gruyere Cheese (Shredded)
- 1 cup White Cheddar Cheese (Shredded)
- 3 tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese

- Prepare the Sweet Onion Jam: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook until soft and caramelized (about 20 minutes). Stir in brown sugar, red grape juice, and balsamic vinegar. Simmer for an additional 10–15 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat.
- Assemble the Sandwiches: Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread. Layer four slices with Gruyere, white cheddar, onion jam, and grated parmesan. Top with remaining buttered bread slices.
- Grill: In a skillet over medium-low heat, grill sandwiches for about 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Serve: Slice each sandwich diagonally and serve warm with extra onion jam if desired.
