Ingredients

Scale

For the Lobster & Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 2 lobster tails (or 1 cup cooked lobster meat), chopped
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

For the Sourdough Toast

  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

Optional Additions

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (for heat)
  • Grated Parmesan or Gruyère cheese
  • Avocado slices for a creamy touch

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Lobster

  1. If using lobster tails, cut them in half lengthwise and remove the meat. Chop into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add lobster, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the lobster turns opaque and tender.
  5. Stir in 1 more tablespoon of butter and chopped parsley, then remove from heat.

Step 2: Toast the Sourdough

  1. Brush sourdough slices with olive oil or butter and toast in a pan or oven until golden brown.

Step 3: Assemble & Serve

  1. Pile the garlic butter lobster onto each slice of toasted sourdough.
  2. Sprinkle with Parmesan or red pepper flakes, if desired.
  3. Serve warm with extra lemon wedges and enjoy!

Notes

Use Fresh Lobster – If possible, opt for fresh lobster for the best flavor and texture.
Don’t Overcook – Lobster cooks quickly; remove it from heat as soon as it turns opaque.
Enhance the Flavor – A dash of Old Bay seasoning or a drizzle of truffle oil can take this dish to the next level!
Make it Extra Cheesy – Melt some Gruyère or mozzarella on the sourdough before topping with lobster.
