  • ½ cup diced yellow onions
  • 8 oz sliced cremini mushrooms

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1¾ cups beef broth
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • 12 oz package egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  2. Add butter, onions, and mushrooms; cook for 5–7 minutes until onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper; cook for one more minute.
  4. Sprinkle in flour and stir; cook for an additional minute.
  5. Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer; let thicken for about 8–10 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain.
  7. Stir sour cream into the beef mixture until heated through but do not boil.
  8. Serve over cooked egg noodles and garnish with parsley.
