  • 6 slices turkey turkey bacon (thick cut, chopped)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 large onions (chopped)
  • pounds green cabbage (cored and cut into bite-size pieces)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 pound egg noodles (medium-wide)

Instructions

  1. In a large Dutch oven, cook the turkey turkey bacon until nearly crisp.
  2. Add 3 tablespoons of butter and melt it over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onions for about 5 minutes until soft.
  3. Stir in the cabbage, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes until softened.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
