- ½ cup whole wheat or panko breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra crispiness)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for extra crispiness)
For Dipping (Optional):
- Greek yogurt ranch
- Spicy sriracha mayo
- Honey mustard
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Step 2: Prepare the Coating
- In one bowl, whisk together egg and milk.
- In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Step 3: Coat the Cauliflower
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place coated florets onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle lightly with olive oil for extra crispiness.
Step 4: Bake Until Crispy
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
