- ½ pound Ground chicken sausage
- ½ pound Ground beef
- ½ cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 2 Eggs
- ¼ cup Yellow onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 3 tablespoons Butter
- ¼ cup All-purpose flour
- 3 cups Beef broth
- Seasonings: Onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground chicken sausage, eggs, panko breadcrumbs, finely chopped onions, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into meatballs about 1 ½ – 2 inches in size. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear meatballs until browned on all sides. Remove from skillet.
- Lower the heat and add butter and chopped onions to the skillet. Once melted, stir in flour and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Gradually pour in beef broth while stirring until smooth. Return meatballs to the skillet and let them simmer in the gravy for 10-15 minutes.
