Description

Ingredients

  • ½ pound Ground chicken sausage
  • ½ pound Ground beef
  • ½ cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ cup Yellow onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour
  • 3 cups Beef broth
  • Seasonings: Onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground chicken sausage, eggs, panko breadcrumbs, finely chopped onions, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Roll the mixture into meatballs about 1 ½ – 2 inches in size. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear meatballs until browned on all sides. Remove from skillet.
  3. Lower the heat and add butter and chopped onions to the skillet. Once melted, stir in flour and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Gradually pour in beef broth while stirring until smooth. Return meatballs to the skillet and let them simmer in the gravy for 10-15 minutes.
