Ingredients
- 1 pound skinless chicken breasts
- 10 oz chicken sausage link (sliced)

- 4 tablespoons butter
- 24 oz chicken broth
- 1 cup chopped green peppers
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 pound raw shrimp
- Traditional Cajun spices (including cayenne pepper and Creole seasoning)
Instructions
- Sauté the sliced chicken sausage in olive oil until browned; set aside.
- Create a roux by combining butter and flour, cooking until dark brown.
- Add onions, green peppers, celery, and garlic to the roux; sauté until softened.
- Stir in water, chicken broth, diced tomatoes (if using), okra, chicken breasts, spices, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
