  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced yellow onion
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 10.5 oz condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
  • 4 large hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for toasting the buns.
  2. Cook macaroni noodles according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large sauté pan over medium-high heat, brown the lean ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Once browned, add diced onions and stir until softened.
  4. Combine ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl; pour over the beef mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  5. In another pot, whisk together condensed cheddar cheese soup, heavy cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and remaining onion powder over medium heat until smooth. Add cooked macaroni noodles and mix well before stirring in shredded cheese until melted.
  6. Toast the buns in the oven for 4-5 minutes until lightly golden.
  7. Assemble by placing beef mixture on the bottom bun and topping with mac and cheese before adding the top bun.
