Ingredients

Scale

1 bag (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli (keep frozen—no need to thaw)
1 jar (24 oz) marinara or pasta sauce
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley or basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

Step 2: Mix the Creamy Layer
In a medium bowl, mix together ricotta, sour cream, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Step 3: Assemble the Casserole
Spread ⅓ of the marinara sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
Add half of the frozen ravioli in an even layer.
Spread half of the cheese mixture over the ravioli.
Add another ⅓ of the marinara sauce over the cheese.
Repeat with remaining ravioli, cheese mixture, and top with the rest of the sauce.
Sprinkle remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.

Step 4: Bake
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.

Step 5: Cool and Serve
Let the casserole rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
Garnish with fresh parsley or basil, if desired.
