  • 4 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ cup chicken stock
  • ½ onion (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tsp ginger (minced)
  • Dried chiles to taste
  • Spring onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with soy sauce, cornstarch, grape juice, and oil in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, chicken stock, and cornstarch in a separate bowl.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry marinated chicken in batches until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Sauté onion, dried chiles, garlic, and ginger in a wok until fragrant.
  5. Add the prepared sauce to the wok; cook until thickened.
