- 1 1/2 pounds beef chuck roast or brisket, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup chopped yellow onion
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 12 oz uncooked spaghetti
- 10 cups water
- Seasonings: salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, oyster sauce, garlic powder
- Toppings: hard-boiled eggs, chopped green onions
Instructions
- Marinate the beef pieces with salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and smoked paprika in a large mixing bowl for at least 20 minutes.
- In a stockpot over high heat, heat vegetable oil and sear the marinated beef until browned (3-5 minutes per side). Remove beef and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium-high. In the same pot, sauté onions, celery, bell pepper, and garlic until tender (3-5 minutes).
- Return beef to the pot and stir in soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, oyster sauce, garlic powder, water, and beef bouillon paste. Simmer covered for about 60 minutes.
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions in a separate pot; drain well.
- Serve by dividing cooked spaghetti among bowls; ladle broth over noodles and top with halved hard-boiled eggs and green onions.
