  • 1/2 cup red grape juice
  • 4 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 3 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 carrots, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 4 stalks celery, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 large onion, chopped

Instructions

  3. Deglaze the pot with red grape juice, scraping up browned bits.
  4. Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and herbs; return seared beef to pot.

  6. Prepare vegetables while simmering; add them to the pot along with cornstarch mixed with cold water.
  7. Simmer for an additional hour until meat is tender.
