  • 24 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 stick garlic and herb butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz garlic and herb whipped cream cheese
  • 1 cup grated parmesan
  • 1.5 cups beef broth
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the chicken sausage in a large pot over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Set aside.
  2. Lower heat and add butter and minced garlic to the pot; cook for one minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in black pepper, onion powder, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), beef broth, and heavy cream.
  4. Add cheese tortellini and cream cheese; cover and simmer for about 10 minutes until tortellini is plump.
  5. Mix in grated parmesan and fresh basil; return cooked sausage to the pot, stirring until well coated.
