  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper (diced)
  • 1/2 cup onion (diced)
  • 8 ounces mushrooms (sliced)
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, beaten eggs, milk, diced green bell pepper, diced onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until just combined.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté sliced onion, green bell pepper, and mushrooms until softened. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Press half the meat mixture into the loaf pan's bottom. Layer the vegetable mixture over it and add provolone cheese slices on top. Top with the remaining meat mixture.
