  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 1 medium green bell pepper (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 ounces Velveeta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until no longer pink; drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and diced bell pepper; cook until softened.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the mixture; stir well and cook for another minute.
  5. Add ketchup, brown sugar, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and beef broth; reduce heat to medium and cook until thickened.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in Velveeta cheese and one cup of shredded cheddar until melted.
  7. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and broil for about five minutes until bubbly.
