- 5 Beef Cube Steaks
- 2 teaspoons Seasoned Salt
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- Black Pepper to taste
- ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
- ¼ cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 Bell Pepper (sliced)
- 1 Yellow Onion (sliced)
- 2 cups Beef Broth
- 10.5 ounces Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 Beefy Onion Soup Mix Packet
Instructions
- Season flour with 1 teaspoon seasoned salt on a plate and set aside.
- Season both sides of the beef steaks with remaining seasoned salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Dredge in flour mixture and shake off excess.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the floured steaks for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown; remove from skillet.
- In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, onion soup mix, and cream of mushroom soup until smooth. Pour into the slow cooker.
- Add seared steaks along with sliced bell peppers and onions into the crockpot; stir gently to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-6 hours until beef is tender.
