  • 5 Beef Cube Steaks
  • 2 teaspoons Seasoned Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • ¼ cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Bell Pepper (sliced)
  • 1 Yellow Onion (sliced)
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 10.5 ounces Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 Beefy Onion Soup Mix Packet

Instructions

  1. Season flour with 1 teaspoon seasoned salt on a plate and set aside.
  2. Season both sides of the beef steaks with remaining seasoned salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Dredge in flour mixture and shake off excess.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the floured steaks for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown; remove from skillet.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, onion soup mix, and cream of mushroom soup until smooth. Pour into the slow cooker.
  5. Add seared steaks along with sliced bell peppers and onions into the crockpot; stir gently to combine.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-6 hours until beef is tender.
