Whether you’re preparing a cozy dinner for two or entertaining friends, this dish promises to impress with its savory flavors and satisfying texture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz farfalle pasta
  • 1 lb beef steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the farfalle pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt and pepper; cook until desired doneness (about 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare). Remove from skillet and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water as needed.
  5. Slice the rested steak into strips and add it back into the sauce along with the cooked pasta. Toss to combine thoroughly.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
