  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground mustard
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp dill pickle juice
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2.5 cups elbow macaroni
  • 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 8 oz shredded Colby Jack cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and chopped onion. Season with salt, pepper, ground mustard, onion powder, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
  2. Stir in minced garlic, ketchup, mustard, and dill pickle juice. Mix well. Add uncooked elbow macaroni, beef broth, and tomato sauce to the skillet.
  3. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cover. Let simmer for about 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  4. Once pasta is cooked through, stir in shredded cheese and milk until combined. Top with chopped green onions before serving.
